Preventing Kidney Problems on a Smoothie Diet 

1. Make a kidney-friendly smoothie

Add a smaller portion of fruits or vegetables rich in oxalates, potassium, or phosphorous.

2. Take adequate levels of calcium

Increasing your calcium intake reduces the risk of developing kidney stones.

You should restrict your daily salt intake to about 2-3 grams.
