Preventing Kidney Problems on a Smoothie Diet 

1. Make a kidney-friendly smoothie

Add a smaller portion of fruits or vegetables rich in oxalates, potassium, or phosphorous.

2. Take adequate levels of calcium

Increasing your calcium intake reduces the risk of developing kidney stones.

You should restrict your daily salt intake to about 2-3 grams.

4. Drink enough fluids

Sufficient fluid intake helps prevent kidney stone formation. 

5. Take smoothies in moderation

Consuming too much green smoothies can increase your risk of kidney problems

Rotating smoothie ingredients limits the  intake of fruits or vegetables high in substances that encourage kidney stones formation. 

6. Rotate your ingredients

Avoid large doses of vitamin C. They increase the risk of kidney stones.
